Thank you for your interest in the Movie Catalog Coordinator position with TroyResearch. The first step is to let you know what the interview process is and to let you read through the job description to see if the position is of interest to you.
The Process:
One of the biggest benefits of working with TroyResearch is that you get to work from wherever you are. However, that makes it a little difficult for us to interview people in the way you're probably most familiar with. Our interview process is something we like to call the virtual interview. It begins with us giving you some basic information about the position and you giving us some basic information about yourself - all online. Once we have collected that information, we look over all the answers and get back in touch with you via email. While this may seem a little impersonal, it's the best way for us to get through the large number of applicants we usually experience from all over the world, and it also allows us to be fair and consistent with the way we choose people. That also means that if you send a personal email to someone in our company, you will be directed back to this process to make sure no one receives an unfair advantage. So having said that, here's the position we're interviewing for:
This position involves maintaining and updating film information in our Movie Catalog and assisting with execution of weekly online surveys for an international media client with panels of respondents.
The ideal candidate will be available approximately 6 hours per week and willing to work a flexible schedule that occasionally may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Success will be measured based on turnaround time from request to execution, the extent to which work is error-free.
