Movie Catalog Coordinator

Position Status:
Independent Contractor (compensated as 1099 contractor)
Approximately 6 hours/week

Position Reports To:
Director of Operations - Movie Services

Position Overview:

This position involves maintaining and updating film information in our Movie Catalog and assisting with execution of weekly online surveys for an international media client with panels of respondents.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Weekly setup and communication of local foreign titles in Excel (Tuesday morning U.S. Central time)
  • Daily updates to the movie catalog
  • Confirming foreign film details by researching via the internet
  • Coordination between Client Services and other contractors to secure the content needed for each survey
  • Some generation of reports for use by TroyResearch management.

The ideal candidate will be available approximately 6 hours per week and willing to work a flexible schedule that occasionally may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Success will be measured based on turnaround time from request to execution, the extent to which work is error-free.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of web-based environment (i.e. web browsers and e-mail, html)
  • Experience with formulas and data processing within Excel (i.e. data mining, forms)
  • Experience working in a less rigid workplace and/or home-based situation preferred
  • Must have computer with reliable high speed Internet connections with browser of Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, high capacity (20 mb or higher) email and Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel).
